RTC Planning: Create Successor Link in Traditionnal Planning

Heike Hefner (845) | asked Oct 29 '14, 7:15 a.m.
I'd like to add a successor to a work item. Unfortunately, the drop-down-menu to add a link only offers "Predecessor" but no "Successor".
In Jazz.net library (https://jazz.net/library/article/663) there is a screenshot showing the option "Successor" in chapter "Schedule dependencies on work items".
So, how can we configure this menu?

BTW: We use RTC 5.01.

Heike, I just tried in 5.0.1 and I can see both.

Not sure what is wrong.
PS: Did you know that you can have two browser windows open and if you show the relationship as column drag an item from the other window over the column to create the link?

Can you provide the plan type and potentially the plan view where you see it?

Oops, my fault.
I didn't know that our training area isn't updated yet (it's still 4.0.6). After changing to production area (with 5.0.1), I found the link type immediately. :-o

Thanks for the additional PS-hint - that's cool!
