Can I extend Eclipse 3.4.1 with RTC V2 beta 1/2?
There is a technote on extending an existing Ganymede 3.4.X Eclipse shell with RTC 1.X.
When I try this with V2 I appear to get a curious result. Though I get the desired result in that it works the plugins for RTC appear in the Installation Manager plugin directory. One result of this is that I cannot then create a movable install.
I am sure this is not the expected result.
Any thoughts?

I'm assuming that you are referring to following technote

If I'm correct, following technote is not applicable to Beta 2.0 is based on eclipse 3.4.2. We could have a similar technote for intalling 2.0 with Eclipse 3.5, though this scenario is currently broken. the fix is on progress and my team will publish the technote as soon as CR has resolved.
not sure what you mean by "movable install" I don't think moving IM installs around on disk is supported...
