I've linked my RRC and RTC and generated a few hundred plan items in RTC from requirements in RRC.

I have a standard template for subtasks for each of these plan items.

Is there..

a) a mechanism to apply a work item template with subtasks to an existing work item?

b) failing that is there a way to get RRC to create work items using a specific work item template?

Can anyone provide a comment on this? It is causing us major pain because as far as I can tell we can't use work item templates for plan items that have been automatically created from requirements in RRC.

To my knowledge, this is not supported.
You'd probably want to post this in the rrc.user forum to be sure, since
this is an operation being invoked from RRC.
Assuming it is not supported, then you'd want to file an enhancement
request against the RRC project area (accessible from jazz.net, under
the RRC project).
