Connectivity

Hie..

So what we have now is 3 different workspace.. one of which is the leader's workspace.. how do i combine it to be onli in 1 workspace?

do all three of us need to create the same documents or issit just the leader creats it? and the members can simply connect to leader's workspace. which is what we are doing now. however by doing so, we will need the leader's username and password and our own workspace wont have what the leader's workspace have.

Please help..we need this done asap..Thanks A Miliion!

Hello 070995C,

I am a bit lost on the conversation here because I don't see the whole context.

So guessing a bit I think you should consider reading this basic tutorial
part about SCM https://jazz.net/learn/LearnItem.jsp?href=content/docs/client-tour/using-scm.html

A quick answer to what I think you mean: A repository workspace (I think
you refere to here) is your private sandbox. Only you should use it. You
should not give away your credentials.
If you three need to work together you should instead have a Stream created
where your workspaces flow to. If you have changed yor documents or files
you can check in these to your repository workspace (can be automated in
the preferences) and once you are sure you can share your version with others
deliver your changes.

You can if needed accept other changes from out side (your team delivered)
into your repository workspace. If conflicting changes are not desired due
to tool isues e.g. work documents. It will be possible to lock artefacts
to other users working on the same stream in 2.0 accoring to the documents
on this web site.
