Is there a mechanism to alert admin user on data collection job failure?

Is there any mechanism to alert admin user on data collection job failure, apart from having to look into the etl.log or logging into jts/admin and looking in Reports --> data collection job status section?

Hello Sumant,

the Email notifications for failed data collection jobs feature was added in JTS 4.0.3:

Jazz Foundation 4.0.3 New & Noteworthy / Email notifications for failed data collection jobs

Unforunately, there is no such mechanism, where an alert is generated when the data collection job stops running.
The only way to check this is to look into the etl.log file and/or logging into jts/admin page, going to Reports --> Data Collection Job status.

--> However, there is an existing RFE for an e-mail notification to be sent upon the failure of the data collection jobs here.

Interested users might want to subscribe to this RFE and add comments.
