RTC: ability to export/import process configuration integrations

Luca Martinucci (1.0k397112) | asked Oct 16 '14, 9:03 a.m.
I wonder whether in RTC there is a functionality to export and import integrations of the process configuration associated to a Project Area.
This implies the ablility of RTC to store different versions of a process configuration (in a way similar to the handling of schema versions by ClearQuest).
Such a functionality would be very useful when a user is developing a new revision of the process on a test Project Area before applying to the production Project Area.
This is the scenario I am thinking about:
  • PA1 and PA2 are aligned to process version 10;
  • I develop version 11 of PA1 and I test it;
  • I export (to a file) the difference between versions 11 and 10 of PA1;
  • I import this integration in PA2;
  • now PA1 and PA2 are again aligned (to version 11)
Is such a functionality already available, or at least is it planned for a future release?

 Hi Luca,

I don't think RTC provides the function like ClearQuest schema revision.

To achieve your requirement "a user is developing a new revision of the process on a test Project Area before applying to the production Project Area", you can utilize the Process Sharing function.
