Importing Requirements into RQM

The instructions for importing requirements from ReqPro into RQM begin with the following:
Select the Source type.
Enter the Host Name or IP address of the host.
Enter the Port number of the host.

Entering the above I see this message:
Error
: The requisite web server might be temporarily unavailable. Please check your hostname and port.

What host name is the system looking for? That of the ReqPro project or the ReqWeb server? I've tried both unsuccessfully.

What syntax is the system expecting to see for the host name and port?

I can connect using
http://ReqRroServerAddress:ReqProPort/ReqWeb
with
ReqProPort = 11080
or
ReqProPort = 80

I am not able to connect using
http://ReqRroServerAddress:ReqProPort/ReqWeb/Servlet/project/*

I've switched to a ReqWeb that is on the same physical server as RQM.

When I enter
http://itsslab32:11080/ReqWeb/Servlet/project/*
The following appears in thw web browser exactly as is
<xml>
- <Projects>
<Project>
<Project>
<Project>
</Projects>

Does anyone know why I would be seeing this?

The ReqWeb home page presents itself normally for all addresses that follow
http://itsslab32:11080/ReqWeb/
http://itsslab32:80/ReqWeb/
http://itsslab32/ReqWeb/

It seems to be working now.

I believe a ReqWeb 7011 server was accidently introduced into our test environment which is intended to hold only 7.1 components. With ReqWeb 7.1, the system seems OK, with one exception.

This address
http://ReqRroServerAddress:ReqProPort/ReqWeb/Servlet/project/*
Results in this output. I don't know it this is as it should be:
<xml>
- <Projects>
<Project>
<Project>
<Project>
</Projects>

Perry, this xml is the response from ReqPro REST API. It shows your ReqPro should work now. You can try to import requirements from this ReqPro server. I am not sure why your previous ReqPro doesn't work. There are a few suspicious points just for your reference.

1. The ReqPro server's version is not 7.1 and its the later release
2. The ReqWeb works for a long time. Maybe need restart now
3. Some configuration or installation issues happen

Can you see your projects while importing requirements from RQM? Which exception did you see? From your xml, it seems the name is missing. For your reference, here is output from my test environment.

<Projects>
<Project>
<Project>
</Projects>

I have two test projects in this case. I suggest you check the catalog.txt in RequisitePro/ReqWeb/projects directory. Maybe the configuration is not correct.

It seems to be working now.
