If I need to stay on CLM 4.x should I upgrade to 4.0.6 or 4.0.7?
I noticed that on the top downloads pages that people are picking up RTC 5.0.1 as the most downloaded version which is great to see, but then I see that the number of RTC 4.0.6 downloads on the same page are ahead of RTC 4.0.7 downloads. If I need to stay on RTC (or CLM) 4.x which release is best for me? (FYI: I'm asking this question to answer it myself)

The answer is 4.0.7 is the right release? Why?
1. It is identical to the 4.0.6 release in terms of functionality but it contains the latest defect fixes
2. The CLM 4.0.7 stream is the IFix maintenance stream for 4.x users
So if you are considering a 4.x upgrade (rather than 5.x) please use 4.0.7 as your base for the best support and maintenance experience.

Here are two additional articles on the CLM Maintenance stream which 4.0.7 is a part of (as well as 5.x); it outlines the benefits from a customer standpoint
