How to disable search button which is used to search work item id or summary in Project Area Dashboard

Hello,

I have a weird requirement, I have been asked to disable search button that is used to search work items from project dashboard.

I dont see any way to disable it.

Is it possible?

I don't think you can remove this. Why on earth would one want to do that? 8D

Maybe ask what the real requirement is? Maybe they need to restrict work item access to certain teams or access groups?

Thanks for the comments. Trust me i have said the same thing. But they need that option to be disabled for one of the project area. From your comments i can think that this is something not possible to remove. Correct me if i am wrong. Thanks again.
