Roles needed in RTC to Reject a ADT Defect?

Marita Mayerhofer (878) | asked Jul 03 '14, 5:15 a.m.

Hi,

We are using RTC version 4.0.0.1. I can assign the following roles to the different users and am wondering which roles allows it to move a ADT Defect to the Status "Rejected". What are the different roles allowing to do?  I would be mainly interested in the action that are possible for the ADT defect work item, e.g. who can create an ADT Defect, who can choose which statuses?

team member
product owner
scrum master
stakeholder
project manager
delivery team lead
change coordinator
risk manager
risk owner
escalation manager
scope change manager
client user
issue manager
issue owner
test lead
configuration manager

project administrator

Thank you very much for your help.

Best Regards,
Marita

You have to look at the permissions associated to the roles in your process configuration to tell which role is allowed to do that. You can grant and revoke permissions to do individual state transitions for individual roles. since this is purely custom in your process, nobody can tell, except you and your project area administrators.

See https://jazz.net/library/article/1093 Lab 3 for hints where to look for.
