DNG - are module searches restricted to the opened module

In one project area, we have multiple team areas (one per system) in which there may be one or more modules.

Are module seaches done across the project area, team area or restricted to the module in focus?

We are getting CRRRW7553E error code 500 for some searches.

What exactly is a "module search"? Are you referring to the search button in the module view?

Yes that is what I am refering too.  Users are doing a simple word search and first the query response is rather slow and some results in the CRRRW7553E error code 500 message.   We are running 4.0.6.

This function is definitely for the current module only. You will need to contact Support to resolve the internal 500 error, unless you can figure it out by checking the rm.log file.
