jazz reporting service sorting by id

CLM 603

All,

Unless I'm living in the Upside Down world, is there any reason my JRS report, sorted by requirement ID is returning DNG data like so:

1     Requirement
10   Requirement
100 Requirement
2     Requirement
20   Requirement
etc....

Hello Mahari,

this issue is discussed in the following defects:

Defect 416748 Sorting in JRS is not consistent
https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/416748

Defect 386654 RB: Reports sorted on WorkItem ID are not sorted numerically but as string
https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/386654

There is a proposed workaround for the DW data source; through custom expressions in 6.0.4 or advanced SQL for earlier releases.

Best Regards
Francesco Chiossi

Adding to my previous answer, a technote has been published about this issue with a workaround for both the DW and the LQE data sources:

workitem IDs are sorted alphabetically

Seems to be a bug.
I can confirm this behaviour in JRS 6.0.3 (Build-ID: JRS_6.0.3-I20170508-2205)
