Floating Toolbars

Gary Mullen-Schultz (28725536) | asked Apr 27 '09, 11:56 a.m.
Are there plans to make some of the toolbars in RQM to float? For example, when I'm creating a manual test, the formatting bar goes "out of scope" when I get too many steps in the test. That means that I need to scroll back to the top to access the toolbar - it would be nice if it was there no matter what.

Thanks, Gary

Hi, not sure if the plans include Floating Toolbars, but the Usability team is aware of the issue with the test script buttons and is working on a solution.

Thanks! If you could post here when a solution is available I'd appreciate it.

We have considered this problem and have developed a script step level control that should rememdy the situation of the toolbar moving off the page area.

The next beta 2.0 update should have this change, which is targeted for mid-May (but I will confirm).
