Ask a question

Which association is needed to use "Development Items"

Georg Kellner (840481109) | asked Jul 21 '14, 6:11 a.m.
We have a ProjectArea in RQM 4.0.6 which shall use Storys in a ProjectArea in RTC 3.0.1.5.

Which association has to be defined.

In RQM I have:
Uses
  • Defects -> ClearQuest
  • QM Tasks -> RTC 3.0.1.5

If I want to add a development item to a TC, the CQ webinterface will be opened to associate a defect, but I want to add a story from RTC.

Any hints?

greetings georg.

What will happen if someone will create a defect based on a failed TC?
The defects has to be stored in ClearQuest, so adding this association will lead to confusion.

You can have more than one association per type.  When the user attempts to create/add the defect from a CCM server, they are presented with a dialog to select the specific CCM server.
