I'm not sure I understand your question. What have you tried already that didn't work?

Do you mean to just get the XML representation of the diagram? If so, then you can try to do a "GET" on the diagram artifact: https://<server>:<port>/rm/resources/<UUID of artifact>?accept=*&private=true
From the result, you should see the diagram information inside the <rm:rrcContent> node.
You can easily get the UUID of the artifact by clicking on the yellow link icon at the end of the artifact's breadcrumb (assuming you're on version 4.x)

What is your end-goal? Will you be importing the diagram afterwards?
