TimelineViewer Widget in Jazz

Andreas Fuerer (111) | asked Apr 17 '09, 5:55 a.m.
The TimelineViewer in Jazz is an awesome widget and we'd like to reuse it in a different RCP project.

Are there any plans to contribute the corresponding plugin com.ibm.team.jface to the Eclipse codebase (or make it open source somehow)?

Unfortunately, the plugin does not have Extension Points which could be used for our purposes. Also, the package com.ibm.team.jface.timeline is not exported. Are there plans to extend the plugin in order to make it re-usable? Is re-usability of Jazz components wanted (--> licensing?)?

Regards,
Andreas

There are no current plans to provide com.ibm.team.jface for Eclipse.
