Cross Browser testing and RFT 8.5.1.3

Hello Everyone,

We recently upgraded to RFT 8.5.1.3.  We are using Firefox 27 and Internet Explorer 10, which is supported by RFT 8.5.1.3.  However, we have been noticing that the objects are very much different in these two browsers when we use RFT.  For instance, try recording a script using Internet Explorer 10 where you launch a browser which opens http://www.google.com, then types in the search for "test", then presses the search button.  You will notice that this script will playback successfully when you use Internet Explorer 10.  However, the script will not recognize any of the objects when you use Firefox 27.  We never used to run into as many issues such as this when we used Firefox 17 and Internet Explorer 10 using RFT 8.5.0.1.  I was wondering if anyone else ran into this issue and have any suggestions to help us?  Thank you very much.

If you have any questions in using RQM to test RFT script or using RQM's RFT Adapter, you may want to post the questions here.

Thanks
