Report to show total scripts/scripts in progress/scripts completed by TestCase %

Don Yang (7.7k21114139) | asked May 02 '14, 3:08 a.m.
In RQM 3.0.1x, there is no script specific existing reports the user can use to provide the script coverage and completion.
If the scripts are associated with TestCases and some of them are executed and some are not yet, some existing execution reports or test cases reports may provide the info we need but not all. The main reports available are most for the executed TestCase/TER.
Is there any way, we can have a report showing Total Scripts/Scripts in progress/Scripts Completed by TestCase?
Will RRDI be able to retrieve those info?
or there is any thoughts as a workaround to retrieve those scripts related info(including executed/in progress and not run scripts)?
Many thanks

Hi Don Yang,

In RRDI, the Query Subject 'Test Script Related Execution Results' links the Test Scripts and the Execution Results, you could use it to create a customized report displaying the information you require.

Thanks,
Clara

Hi Clara,

That is a good idea! Should we be using points to determine all scripts in progress state? I would say some custom queries are required here when a test case has multiple script associations.

I have captured a technical view for the package in question below:

Hi Don,

The report that you are pursuing might not feasible knowing a test script does not have a weight category like other test plans and test cases. Getting the count for total scripts for a test case is not a problem, but determining scripts in progress or completed states are not so trivial without some reference points.
