MTSR questions (II)

--Eclipse and VS 2010 integration installed

IE 9

We ran the following MTSR
  1. Record from RQM
  2. Start IE (default home page = google)
  3. type ibm (return)
  4. Select first IBM.com link
  5. Select Smarter Planet link

This has given us 22, 15 and 3 steps....on average, we have 36 steps. (Repeating steps from google ibm.com search over and over.)

Any idea on why this is so?

Hi,


Can you please attach a screenshot of the recorded steps (in RQM test script) ?
Have you performed the steps repeatedly on the application (i.e. IE) ?

Hello,


We are now at 55 steps for the above. I created a PMR. (number coming soon). Also, we had Joshua Burton on a call today and he was able to see our environment and the problem, ALSO he was able to reproduce it in his environment for web, and the sample ClassicsJava application.

I will create a defect for this that has a PDF of the steps recorded:

The defect is in resolved state now.
