What is (are) possible to do using RRC (4.0.6) 's Email Notification featue?

Hi,

Can RRC send notification mail only by using comments and reviews?
In case of comments/review, we have to assign to whom the notification mail  will be sent?
Is it impossible to notify change event like RTC workitem's subscriber?

I am considering RRC usage scenario with my clients. So I want to understand what is possible/impossible to do via RRC's e-mail notification. But I could not find enough information in RRC's infoCenter. I have checked following information.
RRC 3.0 Email Notification
https://jazz.net/forum/questions/58570/rrc-30-email-notification
E-Mail Notification

Configure email notification in RRC

Thank you in advance.

Natsumi

Hello Natsumi,

I have similar interest.

Do you confirm that currently the email notification in RDNG is limited to the reviews?

Did you find a way to customise the email notification sent by the server? I'm looking at integrating certain statements in such emails so that once processed by a mailbox they will turn into one or more actions assigned to the recipient of the email.

Regards,
Olivier.

Hi.

I'm not sure if you already had a look in the documentation center? These are the triggers for a mail event:

Notification recipient Events that cause email notifications to be sent
All participants A review that was in the Draft state starts for the first time.
All participants Artifacts are added to or removed from the review.
Specific participants Participants are added to or removed from the review.
Specific participants Changes that affect the participants occur to the status of the participants or to the status of an artifact. This event occurs when the creator of the review resets the participant status.
Specific participant The role of the participant changes.
