RTC: upload attachment no more working

Alberto Teodoro (6632638) | asked Apr 14 '14, 2:40 a.m.
Hi all,
we have recently moved to the last CLM version 4.0.6, and also we have upgraded the WAS, HTTP Server and Plugin (7.0.0.31).
Then, we've noticed a strange behavior for customized WI.

The behaviour is described below:
  • On a customized WI, without any previous attachments, we are not able to upload a new attachment, working by all 3 Internet Browser (IE, Firefox and Chrome)
  • On a customized WI, with previous attachments, we are able to upload a new attachment, working by all 3 Internet Browser (IE, Firefox and Chrome)
  • On a customized WI, without any previous attachments, we are able to upload a new attachment, working by RTC client eclipse.
We have found no errors in the logs and from browser http debug tool, seems to be all right.

Someone have noticed this behaviour too?

Many thanks all.
Ciao
Alberto

Since there are no error messages whatsoever, I would suggest to reach out to support. They might need to look into the process template.

do you get 'upload failed'? in the browser?

we experience this problem on 4.0.4, supposedly fixed in 4.0.3

for us, it was not just on a customized workitem

If you have any precondition or follow up action enabled for the workitem, it would be good to try without them to see how it works
