Progress Rollup for Nested Iterations

Matt Pomroy (2652) | asked Apr 01 '09, 1:57 p.m.
Hi,

We have created an iteration plan with phases - each phase has 1..n iterations. Is there an easy way to view progress at each level (iteration, phase, project)?

Thinking I'm just missing something.

Thanks!

Hello,

in RTC Beta 2 you can in addition to Iteration Plans create Release Plans. A release plan can be created for any iteration, and includes all work items planned for that iteration plus all work items planned for a child iteration and belonging to the group of top-level work item types.

Please see section "Support for Release Plans" in New & Noteworty on https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/betas/2.0Beta1?p=news

Hi,

release plans are to be used to track the progress of an overall release
in terms of its top level items. The progress is shown in a customizable
sizing attribute (in Scrum story points) not in hours since future
iterations are typically not broken down yet, so no concrete hour
estimates exist yet.
