How to stop a long-running Data Collection job?

One of our large customers complained that their RQM data from yesterday wasn't appearing in their reports. I noticed the Repository job in RTC is still running and going on 11 hours now, where normally it runs in minutes.
Is there a way to cancel this job? Doing a search only came up with a solution to restart the server which isn't really feasible with this team that needs RTC/RQM up 24/7. |

I'm sure you came across my question regarding this which got answered by restarting the server. I've never been able to find another way around that.
