Error on import of Microsoft Project Plan XML into RTC

Hi,
One of our users is getting the below when trying to import an XML of a Project Plan.
The Roles and Permissions are checked and does not seem to be the cause of the problem.
Please help..

Error occurs in Step 5 of the import.
Error message as below:

Exception occurred while importing the XML file: Exception CRJAZ6053E The 'Save Work Item' operation cannot be completed. Permission required to complete the operation.
