performance impact of many project areas sharing project process in a master project area
Like to understand if there's any limitation or recommendations on the number of project areas that share the same master.

I'm not aware of any constraints or impacts here. but given that this function came in 4.0 it may not have enough deployments to get to 1,000s of project areas hung off a parent process area.
my company was at near 100 when the team was downsized last year. plan was 400ish.. john liu selected this answer as the correct answer
