A question about RQM extension
Hi,
In my project I would like to enable My Task viewlets to show some additional workitems. These workitems are not generated automatically from the approve-review process, maybe they are created by user manually. I try to create a task-review workitem following an existing workitem shown in My Task viewlet. And fill all attributes of this new workitem same as the existing one. But it can NOT be shown in that viewlet. So I'm wondering that what workitem can be shown in My Task viewlet? Is there any way to extend this viewlet to let show other workitems which are assigned to the current user? Or what conditions should be satisfied to allow workitems to show within that viewlet? Thanks in advance! |

Hi, what language are you running in? There was an issue with this viewlet in languages other than English that we are fixing. Thanks.

oh? My OS env is Chinese.. But I try to do this in RQM v1.0. So the languague in RQM is English. I don'k know what does you mean the language env for either RQM or OS..
Can you give more information about the issue with the My Task viewlet? or give more details about the logic in this viewlet? I'm confusing on the logic of this viewlet... Thanks. |
Sorry I actually meant the Browser locale. If you change it to English such as en-US then the viewlet should work. There is a defect in this beta (some strings were translated that shouldn't have been) that causes the My Tasks viewlet not to work in anything but English. This will be corrected in the next updated beta.
Hope that helps. |
Will this issue be updated with RQMv1.0.1?
I changed the locale of browser and seems to be well, but I really want it with other workarounds. |
This will be fixed in RQM 1.0.1.1, and there is a test fix available through Support for current 1.0.1 customers. A related tech note is also being put together and should be published soon.
