need some guidance on using miltiple streams in Jazz

We are currently working on a Version 2.0 of our project, and are wanting to get started with 2.1 development at the same time.

I have looked around for some documentation on how to setup parallel development streams but haven't really found what I am looking for.

I am hoping someone can direct me to something that discusses how to setup and manage this...

Thanks in advance!

Here's a quick checklist of things you'll need to do to get started:

1. Create the new development line and iterations. Set one of the
iterations (usually the first leaf) as current.
2. Create the hierarchy of team areas that will work on this development
line. You'll need to create at least one root team area (parented by the
project); the dialog to create this team area will let you assign it to
the new development line.
3. Associate your workitem categories with the new team areas. You can
keep your existing workitem categories for both dev lines. On the
Categories tab of the project area editor, there is a Combo selector
which will let you choose the new dev line. From here you can assign the
new team areas to the appropriate categories.

I am guessing the correct process would be to:

1) Create a new line of development
2) Create new teams
3) Create a new stream.
4) Have existing stream flow into new stream

Is there more or is this not the right way to proceed?
