Switching type to a Custom workitem type

Brian Wolfe (25613725) | asked Mar 15 '09, 12:37 p.m.
We have created some custom workitem types to support our process and have defined workflows to go along with them.

If someone creates a story workitem (default from scrum template) and then changes it to the custom workitem type, it still uses the story workflow -- this results in an invalid list of statuses available -- the editor seems to be the right one though.

It works fine if the custom type is created from scratch and not changed to it afterwards.

Anybody see this? More importantly, how do I fix it?

Hi
Can you please file a defect against the work item component and add your process specification source as attachment (if it does not contain confidential information).

The workflow should be reset on type change as long as both types are not bound to the same workflow.
