How to get the removed workitem type

Hello

I am working on ALM Chnagemanagment
I have removed the workitem type "defect fix " from the template
( Using Configuration Data--->Workitems-->types and attributes-->remove)

Now how can i get back the removed workitem type in the Project area .

There is No Option like add existing Workitem Types .
Please Help

Hi Vinitha,
Here is how I would proceed:
1. Look into template history in admin panel to check the parameters of deleted work item type
2. Create work item type with exactly the same attributes.

Please notice, that even if you deleted work item type, you have still all worki tems created of given type available in the repository. There are only constraints regarding editing them.

If you are using the RTC Eclipse client, you should be able to access the history of the configuration via the "Process Configuration Source" tab. Compare each version (always against a previous version) in the history list to find out what has been changed. Hopefully you can see the removed work item type definition in a particular version and copy it back to the current source.
