Automatic creation of work items

When I create a user story I would like to have RTC automatically create a set of child tasks with values such as File Against, Priority, and Planned For inherited from the user story. I also want to ensure that the correct parent/child linkages are applied.

I am aware of the information on programmatically creating tasks at https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ProgrammaticWorkItemCreation but was wondering if there might be another, more straightforward way to do this (i.e. some built-in RTC function). If I were to pursue the ProgammaticWorkItemCreation route how would/could I tie that in to "Save User Story"?

Thanks.

You would want to define a "followup action" that users could configure
in their process. Here's a pointer to the Process Developer Guide to get
you started:
