When JAZZ custom setup menu getting, The configured database lock id does not match the lock id in the database

During JAZZ custom setup , step 3 when configuring Databse, Test Configuration succeeds, but getting the follwoing error when Create tAbles option.

The configured database lock id does not match the lock id in the database. This can happen if 2 applications or Jazz Team Servers are trying to access the same set of tables, or if the lock id was overwritten or lost in the teamserver.properties configuration file. Check the server configuration and the database connection spec and ensure they are correct. To recover from an emergency lockout, the lock can be reset using the 'repotools -resetRepoLockId' command. Check the log file for information on the affected database.ID CRJAZ1770E

Hi Sumant,

I am trying to connect DB2 on z/OS. I gave db name as JTS401 in teamserver.properties and schema prefix as X1.

Same i referred here in steps.

Can you assist me.

I went through the link. But in my case, JTS401 is used by one application only.

--> Maybe this is specific to DB2 for z/OS. I am unable to confirm what should be your next step here.

--> Here is the details of the "repotools-jts.bat -resetRepoLocklockid" command and at what instance it needs to be run.

But I am unsure if you should run this command here.

Step 2:Configure Database Connection Properties

JDBC Location The location of the JDBC database. If the location will contain the password, use the value {password} instead of the actual password.	Example: //ipAddress:ipPort/location:user=jazzDBuser;password={password}; Default Value none
Schema Prefix The prefix used for all Jazz schemas.	Default Value none
DB2z database name DB2z database name as defined during the CREATE DATABASE configuration step	Default Value JAZZDB01

Hi Sumant,

   So I was trying to run resetRepoLockid command in z/OS by using JOB. Here in z/OS , repotool commands can be run with BLZCREDB sample job. I modified this sample job to run resetLockid command. When i ran this job, got the follwoing exception.

hi,

I have resolve this recent issue, error running resetLokid
CRJAZ1238I Jazz has detected another server process is connected to the repository database location "db2z:/192.86.32.83:5025/JTS401". The server must not be running when running repotools data commands. C

by stopping WAS server and ran the job.

In WAS actually JTS is running so it also conncets to DB. SO stopped WAS and run the job resolved this issue.

But let me check now in jazz custom setup wizrd.
