See the following plan item scheduled for 2.0:

Thanks,

I am aware of that plan, the issue is that:

1) RTC 2.0 Import will be based on connector technology which is based on dynamic views only. Therefore it won't be applicable to CCLT.

I suppose that this could be solved by migrating the data from CCLT to full CC and then importing throughout dynamic view.. Is that right approach?

Thx.

Yes, that is the right approach.
(Note: The data in CCLT does not need to be migrated, but your CC
servers will need to be upgraded).
You should work with your sales team to get a full CC license (for
import purposes) as part of your RTC purchase.

Thanks Geoff!

As RTC supports importing the CC data only in Standard edition it would work with Standard Edition only.

As the final goal is to use Express edition, is there a way how to perform an import throught a standard edition (even with trial license) and than downgrade the RTC server to Express edition?

Is the difference between editions really ony in server logic or will that be a problem from a database perspective? If so is there a way how to overcome that?

Good question!

Upgrading to Standard just to import data from CC and then downgrading
to Express after the import should be fine, but I've submitted workitem
74080 to explicitly test that scenario.

Dear All,

first of all, thank you for your help! This issue emerged at our partner/customer and hopefully they are not the only one. Let me ask a theoretical question, how could it happened we did not give migration path for CC LT users while we end of marketed this widely installed product?

Well, if I understand well now we can not solve this issue?
What is the planned release date for version 2.0?

Regards,
Balazs

Note that we have explicitly tested and verified the "downgrade" scenario in the past, but we will make sure to test it again for 2.0.

Thanks,
Carol
