Hi Team,
Here is my Production Jazz-CQ Integration scenario: We have remotely installed CQ and Jazz Server on two different system and trying to integrate these system. 1) Machine 1 - Production CQ server and database installed and running. 2) Machine 2 - Jazz Server running and CQ Connector installed. I have modified the cqconnector.properties file to specify the following property: com.ibm.rational.interop.pollingPeriod=60 cq.dbSetDbName=<PROD_SCHEMA_NAME>/<PROD_DB_NAME> cq.userid=xxxx@in.ibm.com cq.password=password cq.queryTreeRoot=Public Queries/JazzConnector Need clarification on the following: 1) how does gateway server know about the CQ server (Which IP to connect) Since we have not specified any where in configuration. 2) What are the access privileged for the ID to access CQ server from the Jazz Server. I got SQL Editor permission on my user id. Since CQ server is the production server, CQ admin is little hesitant to give more permission other than SQL Editor. Is there any other permission required? I am getting following error: CRVSV0977I Not launching task to watch for logging properties changes since this CM API-based code is running inside a servlet or within the CM Server. 27 Feb 2009 23:52:48,140 ERROR com.ibm.rational.interop.level1 - CRRTC4543E: CQ Event Polling has NOT been started com.ibm.rational.connector.cq.teamapi71.InteropWvcmException71: CRVAP0037E (authentication-info-required): Access to database 'CQMS.WBI.ISL/BGTRK' is denied. ...com.rational.clearquest.cqjni.CQException: Caught a CQException at the JNI Boundary: ../cqsession.cpp: line 255-The database "MASTR" belonging to master database "CQMS.WBI.ISL" is an invalid name. Hi Team, Got clarification from Lorelei Ngooi....Though the CQ Client, CQ Connector will get info about CQ server. |
I have received a similar problem when trying a Rational ClearQuest integration with Rational Focal Point using Rational Sync Server. In my case, problem turned out to be, the JRE version that is causing this error. The JRE version that is required for CQ (in particulat cqjni.jar) is the one that is shipped with ClearQuest. If the other application's JRE path is overwriting the path to that JRE and CQ JRE comes later, the cqjni.jar calls are failing, which in turn causes the integrations to fail. And that ends up in this error message. May be you can solve the problem by giving priority to CQ JRE on the CQ machine where you are planning the Integration setup.
