RPE + RRC: Inserted artifacts cannot be retrieved: 400 bad request
I am creating a document with RPE (V1.2) of RRC (V4.0.4) artifacts.
One of the artifacts (A) as an other artifact inserted (B). The second artifact (B) is a use case diagram.
When I run the RPE to create the Word document, RPE creates a URL for requesting a picture of the use case diagram (B).
The logfile of RPE shows the following entries:
If I test the highlighted URL within the browser, I do not get the 400 BAD REQUEST error, but as expected the generated png.
The setting for authentication is "OAuth" and is working for retrieving the artifact itself.
Any hints what may go wrong here?

The problem that you are seeing is a known defect, it is already fixed on 4.0.5 if you need a hot fix please contact support.
Notice that as you mention the problem is reproducible just if the report is run from RPE. Requesting the same url from a browser or from a report on RRC will provide the expected result.

Hi Jorge,
thank you for the hint. I asked the Rational CoC germany to open an PMR, referencing this entry.
But I have to revise my statement. If I take the same URL and use it with the browser, I receive the same response HTTP status 400: bad request.
I noticed also that the Quick Print in RRC of an artifact not always includes images from inserted artifacts.
Anyway, I looking forward to get the hot fix installed.
