Hi Georg,

Yes, it is possible from RPE 1.2.1 release, which released today (30th Oct 2013). However, RPE doesn't claim support for DWA.

The authentication method should be "OAuth-OSLC".
The data source URL would be a DOORS Requirement URL. For eg. http://server:port/dwa/rm/urn:rational::1-505c332a17a813b6-O-1-000000c4

How to find the requirement URL. Open DOORS module using DOORS thick client. Right click on a module object --> Properties --> General tab --> URL.

You may want to take a look at the RPE121 product documentation for additional configuration details. The documentation should be out soon.

Note that the existing DOORS schema (XSD) and template cannot be used for DWA.

Thanks,
Kumar

Also it's good to mention that the DWA route is only meant to be used for integration scenarios, such as RQM->DOORS. Also some of the rich text information ( such as OLEs) is not available through through this API if I'm not mistaken.

For all other scenarios where reports need to be generated from DOORS you need to use the RPE->DOORS direct integration. See the RPE Infocenter and the RPE DevWorks forum for more information on how to do this.

Thanks a lot.

It's our focus to create reports combining RQM and DOORS, maybe RTC and DOORS, so it seems the answer will help us.

I will have fun with RPE. :-D
