RM4.0.3: can server provider be updated using OSLC API?

When we retrieve a Requirement using the OSLC Api,
Can we update the Service provider and post the information back.
Ex: message below, <oslc:serviceProvider
rdf:resource="
https://localhost:9443/rm/discovery/_NfjZ8h0FEeO2hMT0AUH8lg/services.xml"/>
can we update the oslc:service provider?

I don't see this would work, can anyone confirm? Thanks

Correct, you cannot update a service provider (a project area). Just curious, why would you want to update the service provider?
