Hi Dev,
I found following link for you: http://sleroyblog.wordpress.com/2013/04/09/querying-rqm-40-through-oslc-and-rest-api/#cs_access_thru_rest
you can try extending Test Cases (filtered by a category) example.

Hello Dev,

the customer Michael Freeman (Lender Processing Services) did a great job in customizing RQM and provides an open Simple Sample Implementation of a GUI based usage based on different programming languages.

He did this session at the innovate 2013 in Orlando (Session QM 1845)

Many thanks to this customer and if you want to take advantage of that, just take a look here:

http://www.advancedrft.com/2013/06/03/ibm-innovate-2013-qm-1845

The easiest way to get the ID for a test case, is just export a test case view into a csv file and this contains the ID for the test case.

Regards,

Thomas
