For example, lets say I have a Requirement_123, and that traces to a specific class/function XYZ in the code generated from our Rhapsody UML model, what is the best way to provide bi-directional traceability between the requirements and the code?

To see the requirement in the code, you should enable "Include Requirements as Comments in Code" from your Component::Configuration::Settings.
