All,

I need to integrate RTC work items with JIRA. Already, we are using Item connector framework and integrate RTC work items with HPQC ALM. In the same stream, how can i integrate RTC work items with JIRA? Please advice me which java API can be used to talk with JIRA and create issues and etc.

Regards,
Kanagaraj

The Rational Lifecyle Integrations Adapter for JIRA is implemented as an OLSC 2.0 CM provider.  However, Rational does not officially support those provider interfaces, so used in the connector framework they are for use at customers' own risk.

 Hi Kanagaraj,
Did you try similar steps to configure integration for JIRA using Item connector framwork?

There are other connector options available for JIRA :

Thanks.

VK L, Thank you so much for your quick response. I haven't tried any steps so far. But, I would like to go with the similar steps provided in the Item connector framework. So, I just need to know which java API i need to use to talk with JIRA. Also, how do we know that some issue is created or modified in JIRA? Is there any provision like event driven where we will be notified whenever any changes in the JIRA system? Regards, Kanagaraj
