Thank you so much for your quick response.
I haven't tried any steps so far. But, I would like to go with the similar steps provided in the Item connector framework. So, I just need to know which java API i need to use to talk with JIRA. Also, how do we know that some issue is created or modified in JIRA? Is there any provision like event driven where we will be notified whenever any changes in the JIRA system?

JAZZ DEVELOPER Oct 08 '13, 11:37 a.m.The Rational Lifecyle Integrations Adapter for JIRA is implemented as an OLSC 2.0 CM provider. However, Rational does not officially support those provider interfaces, so used in the connector framework they are for use at customers' own risk.
