How to display "Resolution Date" attribute once workitem is set to "Closed" Status

Rustan Allen Lajara (1133) | asked Oct 04 '13, 7:50 a.m.
Hi,

Anyone know how to create a "Closed Date" attribute (timestamp) in RTC which will display the date when the ticket has been closed (show the current date once the ticket is set to closed)?

I try to use the built-in "Resolution Date" attribute on RTC but it does not show the resolution date if the ticket's status is "Closed". It is appreciated if anyone can help us with this.

Thank you.

You could create a "Closed Date" attribute for your work items, as you mentioned, and then use an extension in the RTC server to set the value when changing the state to "Resolved" or "Closed".

The documentation for the APIs can be found on jazz.net here: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RtcSdk20
