What is the Rational Functional Tester version compatible with Quality Manager v4.0.3? Please help!

Hi,

I am using Quality Manager version 4.0.3 and planning to install RFT.

Could you please tell me which version of RFT is compatible with RQM 4.0.3? (if there is more than one version compatible, please list it here)

Thanks in advance!
Victoria.

RFT 8.2.2 and 8.3 are supported. See here: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/CLMSystemRequirements403, under "Integrations".

Thanks for that link. It is very useful!
I've got one more question though. I haven't seen listed Rational Integration Tester (RIT, f.k.a. GreenHat) under the "Integrations" section. Do you also know what versions of RIT are compatible with RQM 4.0.3?
Thanks!
Victoria.

I'm having trouble finding that info, although I did find a mention of integrating RQM and RIT in the RIT 8.5 Info Center here: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/rithelp/v8r5m0/topic/com.ibm.rational.rit.rqm.doc/topics/c_ritrqm_rit_rqm.html

So at the least I'd say 8.5 is compatible.

Answer is a little conflicting from the wiki

In D4. Test Tool Adapters  it states:

"IBM Rational Functional Tester 8.2.2 and 8.3* and future fix packs, mod levels and their fix packs"

"IBM Rational Performance Tester 8.2.1.4 and 8.3* and future fix packs, mod levels and their fix packs"

But then in D2. Integrations it states:

"Rational Functional Tester 8.5 and future fix packs, mod levels and their fix packs"

"IBM Rational Performance Tester 8.1.1.4 and 8.3 and and future mod levels and their fix packs"

Software Compatibility Reports says 8.3.

Although I can deploy RFT 8.5, I'll stick with 8.3 as it is a bit confusing and I dont want to risk incompatibility later on.  There should be a more straightforward way to answer this via single source of truth.
