Can user only see the project areas he belongs to in RTC?

In 1.0 all objects in the repository are readable by a person with
access to the server. In 2.0 we are introducing the ability to restrict
read access.

In current RTC, it seems that the user can see all the project areas,
even if he is not a member of them. I am not sure whether there is a
