how to query deleted work items using Reportable Rest API

I am looking for a way to get deleted work items using Reportable Rest API. Is there any way to find out the deleted work items ?

Hi Anjaly, it will be good to know the use-case you are interested in. That is, it will be good to clarify whether this is the end objective or just a means to get to the end objective. If it is the latter, there could be other means to get there.

Hi Anjaly, as Geoff and Sandy mentioned, there is no way as they are not in the system. That's why I asked you what is that you want to do - ie, if you are looking for deleted work items as a step towards something else, may be there is another way to get to that final objective.

Hi Anjaly,
Unfortunately deleted Workitems cannot be retrieved using Reportable Rest.

More generally, deleted work items cannot be retrieved in any fashion, other than restoring the database from a backup created before the deletion.
