I am working on an existing plug-in for RTC that was passed down to me. This plug-in contains a particular object that is stored in the database. I want to link this particular object to a work item and I'm not sure about the best way to go about it. Should I create a custom link type? If I do create a custom link type can I run my own code when this link is clicked. For example I want to open the object in a form page that already exists.

I've taken a look over http://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ProgrammaticLinkCreation but it leaves a little to be desired. I'm not sure where to go from here. Thanks in advance.
