Is it possible to switch the template in a RRC Project area?

Michael Walker (99215201157) | asked Aug 09 '13, 2:22 a.m.
If we create a Project Area in RRC and specify the JKE Banking template, is it possible to switch it to another template, such as the Use Case template?  Or do we need  to create a whole new Project Area?  I couldn't find anything in the CLM Help.

Thanks,

Hi Michael

the article referred by Jin Zhou is only valid for RTC or at least only valid fro a small amount of informmation

In RRC a project area is defined by two things: Process  and properties. The process can be inherited from a master project area. The properties are used during the instantiation of your project and can not be modified later.

the process covers only roles. All artifact types and definitions are in the Properties.

To make it short: you need to create a new project area or you add in the existing one all artifact types, attributes, etc you need

Hope it helps
