Does Jazz allow any other form of notification apart from email
notification. I am looking for instant notification (alert) to the
users workspace when they are assigned as owner/approver/reviewer of
work item, requirement etc...

I would wager that it's a (human) scalability thing. I know I would be very annoyed if that little box showed up every few seconds because other member on a very large team made changes to a work item.
It would be fine for small teams but it wouldn't work well for large ones. I don't want my concentration interrupted unless it's something really important. Change-set delivery and builds sounds about right for me.

It is possible to show an alert for every change notification received.
The configuration can be found under
Preferences->General->Notifications. Since Jazz notifications are Atom
feeds, you'll have to configure a Feeds->Item Received notification. If
you want to see alerts for all changes set Priority >= lowest, Notifier:
Alert.
This option isn't configured by default because -as you and Gabriel
guessed- users felt harassed by all the alerts showing up.

Hi Bhadri,
Yes, it is possible to reduce the delay. Go to the 'Team Artifacts' view
and expand the 'Feeds' node. You should have at least two entries: 'My
Teams in <project name>' and 'My Work Item Changes'. Those are the two
default Atom feeds which notify about item changes. Receiving news items
with those feeds will then trigger the alert (notification) you just
configured.
To reduce the delay, right-click on 'My Work Item Changes' feed and
choose 'Properties'. The 'Update Interval' determines the frequency with
which the server is polled. This value can't be set below 180s to avoid
performance problems on the server.

Hi, I turned on the notification but there seems to be a time delay of
about few minutes to receive the notification. Is it possible to
reduce the delay. Thanks
