String List Attribute Type & Restricting New Values
Hello. I would like to know if there is a way to restrict new values from being added by a user when using the String List Attribute type. I've setup a String List that is pulling values from a script and I only want the values pulled from the script to be selectable by the end user. If I could get rid of the, "New" and "Edit" options within the Attribute type I would be a happy camper! I need to use the String List type as I'm planning to have 1000s of values available and I need it to be easy for the user to find his specific value (via the Filtering option)
Please advise and Thanks in advance for your comments! |

Hello Benjamin,
I don't think this is possible for now,
and should be addressed by The String List Editor Presentation should support an "allowUserSupplied" property that can disable user supplied string values (240267)

Hope it helps.
