Can someone summarize the impact of archiving an Iteration or a Timeline?

We have a number of timelines/iterations that were created and are no longer needed.  We also have iterations that are completed in active timelines.  What happens to these when they are archived?  We want to clean up the organization, but don't want unanticipated impacts from this action.

Hi Rich,

There shouldn't be any negative impact. You can always retrieve the values by turning on the "Show Archived".

And on the report side, you could turn on the "Include Archived Reporting Data" in the Advanced Properties.

Hope it helps. Thanks.
