RRC:unable to view modified file's contents in audit history

The users uses 4.0 RRC.
After uploading a file in RRC and then edit to upload higher version of the file. Then go to the audit history, it only shows the activities history not going to real contents of the history version as what requirement would provide.

The questions are:
1) Is it possible for the user to check with the history version of the uploaded file(contents)?
Ideally if the user can see the comparison between the versions(on where it is modified).
2) My understanding is that it is not possible to find the history contents/or compare the versions of uploaded files.
Is it a valid RFE or there is no way to achieve that in the tool.

Please advise. Thank you very much.

The major concern here is that the upload seems to override the previous version of file. The user wants to locate any version of the same uploaded file in the system, is there any way to achieve that in RRC?

Does anyone know whether RRC keeps different versions of uploaded attachment? and if yes, where can we find it? or the latest uploaded file will always override the previous version and no way to retrieve the previous version of uploaded file? if it is that case, what is the thoughts behind the design: performance concern?(want to find out if RFE is valid based on the design)Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Don Yang,
You can upload a newer version of the image.  This just uploaded image does not override the previous version but becomes the current version.  If you want to see the history of reviesions, open the image artifact -> Open History and go to the 'Revisions' tab, you can there look at all revisions by clicking on the square that represents each in history.  You might see the revision be displayed in the canvas that correspond to the version selected.

Unfortunately the revision changes does not display what is changed in the image itself, it is not implemented such feature.  You might see that the wrapper now points to a different binary resource (the image)  Maybe you can submit an RFE of such feature.

Thanks Fabian for the info.

The concerned file is a doc file here but I think your suggestion applies to doc file as well.
The problem is that in v4.0, due to the defect in

The user can only see the latest version of uploaded file in any revision's contents hence giving them the impression that the tool overrides the history versions.
