DB2 and RRC server on the same Windows box?

For Requirement Composer (Beta), DB2 must be installed on the same box as the JRS server. Is it still a mandatory requirement for RRC v1.0 GA release? Thanks.

No. In GA it is not required to install DB/2 and the RRC server on the same box. In fact, in our performance tests we have seen increased performance by installing them on 2 separate boxes.

Thanks.

I just tried RRC Server Configuration from the Jazz web server pointing to the DB2 server on a different box. But, the configuration failed. The databases were not created. Any comment.

FYI, 1) DB2 is also installed on the Jazz web server (RRC Beta limitation) and it worked fine, 2) the same Jazz web server is also used for RTC web server and DB2 works fine on a separate box (the same box that I preferred for RRC 1.0).
